This policy explains what personal data Bespoke Estimation collects through this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
Bespoke Estimation is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered details are:

What we collect
- Enquiry form — your name, email address, phone number, the service you are asking about, your message, and any drawings or documents you attach.
- Newsletter form — your name and email address.
- Technical data — our hosting provider processes your IP address and the country it resolves to in order to serve the site securely and to show you the right regional contact details.
- Analytics data — how you arrived at the site, which pages you view and roughly where you are, collected by Google Analytics. See below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how people find us. It records the pages you visit, the site or search that sent you, your approximate location, and details of your browser and device. It sets cookies on your device to recognise repeat visits.
We do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with the details you send through our forms.
You can opt out for every website using Google’s browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings.
Spam protection
Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. It looks at how your browser behaves while the page is open. It does not use cookies for tracking and does not profile you across websites.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Enquiry details are used to prepare a quote and reply to you. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. Newsletter details are used only to send you the updates you asked for, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
We do not sell your data, share it for marketing, or use it to build a profile of you.
Files you send us
Drawings, specifications and other documents attached to the enquiry form are delivered to us by email and are used solely to price the work you have asked about. Attachments are limited to 30MB per file and 10 files per submission. If you would rather not send commercially sensitive documents by email, contact us first and we will agree another method.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and their attachments are retained for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months] from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Where we are engaged to carry out work, project records are kept for [RETENTION PERIOD] to meet our accounting and professional obligations. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who your data is shared with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare
- Hosts this website, delivers form submissions to us by email, and provides the Turnstile spam check. Processes your IP address and request data.
- Google Analytics
- Measures how the site is used. Receives your IP address, approximate location, browser details and the pages you view.
- Microsoft 365
- Our email provider. Enquiries and attachments are received and stored in our mailboxes.
- Google Fonts
- This site loads its typeface from Google’s servers, which means your IP address and browser details are sent to Google when a page loads.
We will also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies on your device (_ga and _gid) to recognise repeat visits and measure how the site is used. We set no advertising cookies, and nothing on this site is used to target you with adverts elsewhere.
We also store a single item in your browser’s local storage to remember that you have dismissed the notice at the bottom of the page. That value stays on your device, is never sent to us, and clearing your browsing data removes it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not stop you using this website or sending us an enquiry.
Where your data is held
Our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers have in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- ask us to delete your data, where we have no continuing need for it
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- ask us to transfer it to another provider
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
