Programmes that show when the work happens, what it depends on, and what it costs month by month.
For contractors, we prepare construction programmes to coordinate labour, materials and plant on site — sequencing the trades so that the right people arrive when the work in front of them is actually ready.
For clients, we provide estimated construction timelines to assist with accommodation planning, cashflow forecasting, bank drawdowns and overall project planning. Knowing when money leaves the account matters as much as knowing how much of it there is.
What you receive
- An editable Gantt chart showing every activity, duration and dependency
- A cashflow forecast mapped against the programme
- Critical path identified, so you can see which delays actually matter
- Resource and plant requirements period by period
- Drawdown schedules suitable for issuing to a lender
When to use it
Contractors typically need one at tender stage, to demonstrate deliverability, and again at start on site as the working programme. Clients most often need one for a funding application, or to plan around a move-out and move-in date.
The programme is also what preliminaries should be priced from. Because most site costs are time-related rather than value-related, a few weeks of overrun can absorb an entire margin — we have worked that through in five costs contractors consistently underestimate.
